Linda Blackwell Stevens, 69, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went home to
be with the Lord on Thursday, May 31, 2012. Linda was born Dec. 3, 1942,
in Luling to Jimmie and Wylie Stewart. She was preceded in death by the father
of her children, Jesse "Jay" T. Blackwell Jr.; and son, Stewart Blackwell.
Survivors: Husband, Oscar Stevens; son, James Blackwell and wife, Teri;
stepdaughter, Karen Myrick and husband, Richard; four grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; and numerous friends.
